Here is our fantasy-paranormal short film “Ineffugibilis” (Unavoidable), born from an idea that has been then developed during a summer spent in Jordan. Both the subject and the screenplay have been largely taken care of by the boys and girls, who then took part in the shooting.
Below is a recap of the story:
Some boys and girls – cousins who met for the summer holidays – are playing in the courtyard of their grandparents’ house in Jordan. Suddenly, they realize that they are completely alone, no adult, in fact, is more with them at home, despite the fact that their cars are all in the parking lot. The phones don’t even work and there is no way to contact the outside. Strange events begin to happen at home, and the boys and girls, one after another, begin to disappear into thin air. Only their memories of that summer spent all together – memories recovered with difficulty and stuck together like the pieces of a puzzle – will be able to reveal the mystery.
So, you will find out an exciting plot and a breathtaking ending, for a short film – only youngsters play in it! – not to be missed!
