In apertura abbiamo riportato una citazione tratta dalle Confessioni di S. Agostino, nella quale è chiaramente manifesta la perplessità del Vescovo di Ippona proprio riguardo a tale questione. E’ possibile o meno vedere ciò che ancora deve accadere?
Lungi da noi il volerci cimentare in un’improbabile disquisizione filosofica, da aggiungere alle tante altre già effettuate! Tuttavia, nondimeno, diremo la nostra. In quale modo? Faremo semplicemente parlare per noi i fatti raccontati dai nostri testimoni.
