We will report a case concerning a painting, specifically a portrait, which was done by the artist Giovanna Alessandrini, a Roman painter, winner, between the ’80s and the ’90s, of many awards and particularly skilled in painting portraits, since – according to those who own at least one of her works – she manages to capture the “soul” of the subject.

Since the beginning, our protagonist had found unexplainable difficulties in giving life to her new work, yet she had enthusiastically accepted the request of the father of the child, who had died in an accident not a long time before. It was, after all, just to deliver to the child’s parents something that could help them remember their child, and this was the most important thing to her. Then, after facing many difficulties, the work was over, and with excellent results, but just then, when all seemed finally in place, something completely unexpected happened…

Follow the short story of the artist herself and you will discover what she was involved in…
